Bits of Beijing

Snippets from a recent work trip in Beijing.

We had Xinjiang cuisine while we were there and it turns out to be my top 3 meals among all my travels to date! Omg I absolutely enjoyed the exquisite taste of every single dish. It's a little bit greek, a little bit turkish, sour-ry with vinegar, onions, tomatoes, pita bread soaked in this gorgeous lamb gravy with spices galore... mm-mmmm I need to visit Xinjiang one of these days.









Met up with an ex-colleague and his friend for drinks and dessert at 后海, a lake in Central Beijing surrounded by a long string of bars and pubs with live bands and singers.

Phu Quoc Island
